Description:
I would describe myself as an intelligent person who does not take himself too seriously. I also enjoy having a good time out and about, or just sitting at home snuggling in front of the TV. I can be spontaneous, but can make plans as well. I am down to earth and easy going. I love to travel and experience new cultures and food and am open to most adventures. I like getting lost in new cities exploring (as long as I have a map we will not get lost, I hope) or taking tours.
Things that may be a turnoff for you, I am analytical (comes with being an engineer, or a man). I do not need that many people or friends in my life to be happy and have been called too independent. I am an introvert who does not like the spotlight, which of course makes me somewhat shy. I am also ashamed to admit that I like some rom/coms.
I’m originally from Ohio, USA and am new to Germany and do not know much German (obviously because I am writing in English).
I'm looking for someone who has the weekends free (a must) as well as some random weeks when we see fit to see Europe. I work during the week and have the weekends free and hopefully in the not so distant future will be able to take vacation days during random weeks.
I like a girl who understands humor, especially sarcasm and can laugh at herself. You must be easy going and willing to go with the flow but can help make plans for our adventures.
I do not like women who are loud and obnoxious or high maintenance. When I want to get up and go somewhere, I do not want to wait an hour for you to get ready. Of course there are exceptions to the rule, like we are going to a nice restaurant.
